Klasse 6

What a great year we have had in German this year!

I have been so proud of all the students as they mastered new phrases to describe their WW2 Resistance Hero, learned about German Food, Football and Culture.

Our Food Day was a great success thanks to all the amazing Parent Helpers! I was so proud of every child’s behaviour and interest in cooking and trying foods.

I hope you have been inspired to keep trying new things and to keep learning Languages.

If you loved our Gingerbread, I have found a similar recipe here:

Frohe Weihnachten!

Klasse 6 has had a great start back to term.  We are practising phrases so the students can assist on the WinterFest stalls.

Welche Klasse?

I can’t wait to see you all there!

There will be loads of French and German food to try, which fits beautifully with our Year 6 Unit this term exploring German Food Traditions.  We’ll end our Unit with a German Cooking Day, so stay tuned for further information, and let me know if you’d like to help out on the day – I can’t run it without you, and it’s always a fabulous day!

Hallo Klasse 6.

Here is a link to a fantastic TV show that will give you a chance to practise and learn some simple German phrases.

Let me know if you are able to access it at home.
